How would you describe having ADHD? How we think and feel on the inside are often very different to what is perceived on the outside. From the outside I perceive people to think I'm very forgetful, that I don't hear what they say or don't care about tasks needing done. Of course I feel bad about forgetting things, I push myself hard to listen and stay focused - I like to try and break tasks down to make the seemingly impossible feel more possible. Before I suspected I had ADHD I was constantly looking for an explanation of what was wrong with me - something that would just make it all make sense. How would you describe your ADHD? What mechanisms do you use to cope? 🤷🏼‍♂️
